Excellent seafood restaurant. We were very satisfied.

I was proud when the waiter told me I was a well-bred kid, but here the chef told me that I was a boy with excellent taste and gave me and the boys a free portion of fish on the way home. Truly a perfect restaurant

Delicious, very friendly staff. If you get a window seat upstairs, then you have a great view.

I have never eaten fish as well as in this restaurant. It was really great. Ample servings at an affordable price. Simply TOP !!!

The quaint, rustic fish house was comfortably furnished and the food was fantastic. But I found the fish platter too expensive for 2 people. Since I saw other fish restaurants in Hamburg, the plate came for only 25 euros and not 50 euros.

Fish lovers will get their money's worth here. In the fisherman's house 3 restaurants are combined in one. We personally liked the “rustic” area from the ambience (1960s style) the most.

We went there on recommendation to eat delicious fish !! Were not disappointed. Older, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, normal prices and very good food! I especially like the mussels. Half a portion for € 7.50, but actually just as big as a whole portion at our Italian restaurant around the corner and twice as expensive! So delicious!! And it hardly gets fresher! The next time I visit Hamburg, I'll know where to eat again! 👍🏻👍🏻

We liked it, but unfortunately it didn't get the attention of the young waiter. Our glasses and those of other customers had been empty for a long time and we would have liked to have had a drink. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't notice it. Even after repeated eye contact, the waiter did not pay attention. The food was good, but there was no overview of the sauces on the menu that could be added. Even then, our waiter could not list all the sauces that were offered. Typical North German accordion music played in the background. The decor is quaint. With large windows. Price / performance: 3/5 stars Waiter: 2/5 stars Ambience 3/5 stars

Food and service were good. Ate the fish platter. Unfortunately, all fish were prepared in the same way (floured and fried). But it was still tasty. The side dishes were good too. Gladly again

The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait long. Unfortunately we were referred to the 2nd floor relatively "abruptly" at the entrance, although it was not clear to us until now whether the 2nd floor belongs to the restaurant. We only received an explanation above. The 2nd floor was stylishly furnished and you felt very comfortable. Great family business, everyone understood their job here. Keep it up.

Under all cannon Food ordered outside the home: Duenstfisch with 'dill sauce' Terrible tasteless goo. Potatoes partly inedible as it was probably too long warmed up somewhere. Broccoli partly almost raw. 100% worse than before. Terrible, never ever.

I give this star for the very friendly waiter. Unfortunately for us it was a bitter disappointment. Dirty table linen. Blind glasses, the way of serving reminded us of the seventies. The fish platter a disaster. Some pieces of fish were so full of bones that you couldn't 🍴 eat them. Very dry. It was our wedding day. Too bad. But the very friendly waiter accepted our complaint. I was very sorry because he couldn't help it.

Wonderful place!!! Historically preserved cosy atmosphere with original furniture. The stuff is friendly. Very tasty local cuisine from fish. Also the prices are adequate for the dishes. Would definitely recommend!

Yesterday at 10pm we were looking for something to eat. The food was delicious and the service was just great. Despite the late hour he was really friendly and literally read our wishes from our eyes. I can only recommend it.

The food here is good and the main waiter is really friendly and nice. I went the other day and the restaurant is well spaced out for Covid but the waiter and another staff wore face shields only. I am not sure if that is totally compliant without the face mask.

Bad! Definitely not to be recommended. Were there on July 11th, 2020. There were 4-5 people in the restaurant. Nevertheless, we were reluctantly let in. Kellner was more interested in his keychain than we were. Waited for him 15 minutes. Then we went out and weren't even asked why we were leaving, apparently didn't need guests. Better go to the surrounding restaurants. Maybe the owner will notice what is going on in his shop. I also wrote him a personal email with a phone number, no response.

It was better. Good service as always. The plaice is not really crispy. Better than in the North Sea, but ... The ambience is very nice.

Good central location and generally tasty menu choices, my favourite spot to seize a bite. Enjoy this place, not too expensive. Freshly prepared food made out of top quality ingredients. You really can taste the food quality, my sister and I were definitely extremely impressed. Our table have been reserved for my sister's birthday, she was really thrilled and the venue appeared great. Waiter understood the menu inside out, really impressed.

We didn’t even get to sit, since one of of the waiters was very rude to us. I hope the rest of the team is friendlier. 😊

Very nice fish restaurant that really deserves the name! Nice staff and a clear menu with a good selection of fish. I had cod, steamed with parsley potato and mustard sauce. The fish was first class and the mustard sauce very suitable, so that the fish taste remains in the foreground, really 1a with asterisks! The portion was more than sufficient and worth every penny. The next time I'm in Hamburg, I will definitely stay here again!

This place should be called Kartoffelhaus, where potatoes are apparently a main attraction and fish is just an addition. The chefs may know how to fry a fish and boil a potatos but that's it, no imagination nor creativity what so ever! Such banal and flavourless dishes are perfect for people who don't expect anything more from food than stuffing themnselves with overpriced potatos.

I had a delicious fish platter. Not too fancy, but still tasty.

Don't go there if you want good service and a price worthy meal. At dinner it was like a lunch restaurant at rush hour and the food tasted like that too.

Total fake and direct lies on the phone when booking — and then you arrive on your birthday just to kiss the doors. You should be ashamed.

Not the best "ambient", but very nice meals! The menu is huge; my eeg (hope is correct) and my plaice were wonderful, as well as the entry soup and mussles. Just a bit pricy.
